James Isaac Herrera, 39, of Livermore, Co, passed away on April 1, 2020. He was a very devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and friend who was loved by so many. He will be truly missed.
James was born on January 9, 1981 to Karen and Ted Herrera. He loved spending time in the mountains, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, playing flag football, spending time with family and friends and watching football together with them, wrestling, teasing his sister, Kayla, and goofing around with his friends. He had a very lighthearted, radiant spirit. He loved making people laugh and smile, loved to tease and joke around, and was loved by all.
On July 12th, 2003, James married his church camp sweetheart, Kacie (Gifford) Herrera. Together they built a beautiful life and brought two wonderful children into the world, Tatum and Zaben. As a family, they loved spending time with one another in the mountains, vacations, cruises, and whatever adventure they had next planned.
He is survived by his wife, Kacie; children Tatum and Zaben; father Ted Herrera; sister Kayla and husband Shawn Clark; Nephews Noah and Kaleb Clark, Niece Alina Clark; Mother in-law,
Martha Gifford; Grandfather, Manuel Herrera, and many brothers-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother and one of his greatest friends in life Karen (Sparks) Herrera.
