Im deeply sorry of your loss of a husband and a father.  I know how hard that is. I cared for my father until he passed and you are never quite prepared. I just wanted to send my condolences as I knew Kathy when we were in school. Hopes of peace will come your way soon.

It was a pleasure to know Jerry through the Greeley Lions Club.  I enjoyed working with him at the 9 Health Fair many times. And of course, in connection with the Lions 4th of July Pancake Breakfast.  Jerry's dedication to the community will be missed.

To the Mize family,

Jerry was an astute businessman and an anchor in the Greeley community.  He was also a quiet leader with a friendly smile!  I have fond memories of him.  I'm so glad Steve is carrying in the family tradition!!!  It's ironic that dad and Jerry were neighbors again at the end in ICU.

What a sad day it is for the family and Greeley as a whole. When I would call on the store as a member of Associated Grocers I always tried to make it at break time as Jerry would sit and visit with his whole store team. The stories were great and even better was the immense knowledge Jerry had to share. What a groceryman he was. Steve and family, your Father meant a great deal to me. He gave advice to me in my business and was a shining example of how to do things the right way. God Blees and my sympathies to you.

Steve and the Mize family:  Jerry was one of the most honorable men I ever met and I always enjoyed being around him.  Rest in peace Jerry!

I'm very sorry for your loss. Jerry was great a boss. I enjoyed working under his authorty and leadership. I will surely miss his wit on doing things right through out the store. Jerry was firm and nice all the time.

Dear Mize Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. As a child we were always in the market. We lived on 7th street and would walk over to the market on a regular basis. My grandmother wouldn't but hambuger or a Sunday roast at any other supermarket. In the summer time walking to and from Island Grove pool we would stop by and pick up snacks for the day or after a long day at the pool. Jerry and Matt were always so kind to us, letting us pick through the Surefine soda until we found just the right flavor and standing at the candy displays choosing out treat. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.
