Gerald “Jerry” Glenn Brown, 47, of Greeley, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at North Colorado Medical Center, Hospice unit. Jerry was born on May 11, 1965 in Greeley to Raymond Allen and Stella Irene (Baca) Brown.
Jerry was raised and educated in Greeley. He graduated from Greeley West High School in 1984. After graduation, he worked in construction and worked at Ellis & Capp Equipment Company and then he went to work for Kodak of Colorado. He also worked for a fence company.
On September 27, 1996, Jerry married the love of his life Brenda Kern at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. They divorced in 2011, but still remained friends.
Jerry enjoyed fishing and trips to Black Hawk. Above all was his family, especially his daughters and granddaughters.
Jerry is survived by his four daughters, Amanda Stewart (Adam) of Greeley and Heather Boshinski (Eric), Jillian Brown and Kya Brown all of Pierce; his mother, Stella Brown of Greeley; four granddaughters, Kadence, Kelsey, Kynlee Stewart and Marley Boshinski; two nieces, Brittney Dyer and Breanna Kern and two nephews, Josh Dyer and Justyn Kern. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Lori Dyer.
Friends may visit 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary 11:00 a.m. Friday followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. both at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
