Frank Rangel, 68, of Greeley, died Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Frank was born on August 6, 1944 in Greeley to Phillip Benicio Sr. and Marie Paz (Gonzales) Rangel.
Frank was raised in Greeley. He worked in the construction field most of his working life, from 1964-1980 he worked in home construction, bridges and dams and more recently he was employed with the Weld county schools. He was a member of The Vineyard.
Frank took pride in raising his children and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons, Darrol Wayne Rangel of Porterville, California and Fred Rangel of Evans; a daughter, Rebecca Marie Navarette of Greeley; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, David Rangel, Richard Rangel and Phillip Rangel, Jr. all of Greeley and five sisters, Isabelle McCall of Virginia, Betty Landon of Tempe, Arizona, Stella Gobel of Indianapolis, Indiana, Barbara Louise Sare of Tempe and Christina Scott of Tempe.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Brenda Jo Rangel and Rebecca Lee Rangel, a sister, Eugenia Rangel, a brother, Ralph Anthony Rangel, infant brother, Fredrick Rangel and a granddaughter, Tabitha Rangel.
Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29 at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church.
