...was born April 9th, 1933 in St. Xavier, Bighorn County, Montana to David Dow Ferguson and Bessie Gladys Conklin-Ferguson. She was the fourth child of six. Her siblings were, Mary Elizabeth, Ruth Eileen, David Conklin, Martha Joan and Francis Jacquline... 4 sisters and one brother.
She grew up in Gillette, “Dutch Creek” near Wyarno and Sheridan, Wyoming, graduating in 1951 from Sheridan High School. Upon graduation she moved to Sacramento, California to be near her sister Mary. Her first daughter, Matilda Jane “Tillie” was born in Sacramento in 1952.
She moved back to Sheridan where she attended Sheridan Business College and became proficient in typing and shorthand. She worked for the state of Wyoming in Jackson Hole Wyoming for the Park Service.
In 1958 she moved to Evans, Colorado where she met and married James Zoar Conklin, Jr. on December 10, 1959. Their daughter Marjorie Ann was born June 10, 1961, followed by their son, Thomas Alan, November 14, 1963.
They moved to Greeley and bought their first home in 1965 on 32nd Ave. They later bought a larger home on 6th Avenue in 1967 and then a home north of Greeley.
She worked for the college in Greeley, then known as CSC and later for Weld County Hospital in Greeley as a nurse’s aide. In the 70’s she returned to College, graduating from Aims Community College with an Associate’s degree in Accounting. She worked for a private firm and later Monforts in book keeping and accounting.
She and Jim lived in Loveland for a short period of time after his retirement and later traveled in the winter to a home they purchased in Apache Jct., Arizona.
They also traveled extensively to visit their children and grandchildren in Wyoming, Texas, Florida, North Carolina and Jane even traveled to Indonesia.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served faithfully for many, many years. She loved to sing, sew, crochet, embroider, make quilts, do genealogy and cook. She tried diligently to learn photography and studied Spanish.
She was sealed in the Fort Collins Temple to her Husband Jim for Time and All Eternity on February 2, 2017.
Jane passed away October 11, 2019 after a short severe illness, in the ICU at the same hospital in Greeley where she had once worked and where her children Margie and Tom were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents Dave and Gladys Ferguson, her sisters, Mary, Ruth and Jackie, her brother David and her Step-son Jimmy Conklin. Also her precious Grandson, Brandon Ryder.
She is survived by one Sister, Martha Joan Sizemore of Young, Arizona, her daughter Tillie (Tony) Marshall of Polson, Montana, daughter Margie (Steve) Ryder of Parker, Colorado and son Tom (Lisa) Conklin of Pico Rivera, California.
Also Living, 10 Grandsons, Chris (Regina) Marshall, James (Yanette) Marshall, Andrew Marshall, Joel Marshall, John (Celeste) Marshall, Michael Conklin, Joshua Conklin, Nathan Conklin, Seth Conklin and Justin Ryder.
One granddaughter, Mari Conklin

23-Great Grandchildren, Lauren (Chase) Bonaventure, Brienne (Josh) Heath, Ashley (Nathan) Moler, Nicole Sondles, Xavier Marshall, Matthew Marshall, Ella Rose Marshall, Megan Marshall, Kadence Marshall, Simon Marshall, Logan Ryder, Harper Marshall, Aurora Marshall, Jocelyn Marshall, Lily Marshall, Abby Marshall, Kara Ryder, Maurice Marshall, Illyandra Marshall, Luna Bold, Analise Marshall, Roman Marshall and one baby Marshall due in January 2020

Many, nieces and nephews and extended Family members. As well as all her dear friends from the church who have helped and cared so much for her in the past 10 years. Many of whom she viewed as “Family”, for which we will be eternally grateful, you know who you are.
