Elsie Ruth Wolfe

Elsie Ruth Wolfe, 90, of Greeley, went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Greeley on January 14, 1931, to Gottfried and Mollie (Brinkman) Schulz. On August 6, 1950, she married George Wolfe, Jr. and they lived happily in Greeley their entire married life. He died in August of 2000.

Elsie was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and traveling. She was a member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church and the Christian Women’s Fellowship. She loved quilting with a group of women from the church. She also enjoyed bowling in mixed leagues with her husband and in women’s leagues with friends, and they went on many trips to bowling competitions. Elsie also loved spending time at their cabin in Glen Haven during the summer.

Elsie is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Erich) Draht of Greeley; her sister, Lillian (Fred) Dorgin of Sun City, AZ; her brother, Robert Schulz of Canon City, CO; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Wolfe; her sister, Dorothy Rosmis; and her infant sister, Helen.

A visitation will be held from 4-7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Allnutt Funeral Service, Macy Chapel.
