Earlene Wagner went home to the Lord and her husband on April 23, 2020 at the age of 98. Earlene Trimble was born November 18, 1921 to Hazel (Foster) and James Earl Trimble at Mead, Colorado. On March 28, 1942, she was married to David Wagner in Denver. They lived in Ft. Walton, Florida where Dave served at Eglin Air Force Base during World War II. In December 1945, they returned to Colorado and farmed in Prospect Valley for 42 years. In 1990, they retired and moved to Greeley where Dave died of cancer in 1995.
Earlene is survived by 3 sons, David (Dixie), Gerald (Jane) and Herbert; 7 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren and a sister-in-law Shirley Trimble. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dave; brothers Ivan and Donald; sister-in-law Rachel Trimble; daughter-in-law Sherran Wagner; and Great-Grandson Gavin Faul.
Our beloved mother was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Greeley, Daughters of the American Revolution, Territorial Daughters of Colorado, 17th Century Colonial Dames and was a member of Weld County Extension Homemakers for over 50 years. She also enjoyed many years doing hers and Dave’s Genealogy.
