David Dean Mares

Dave graduated from Greeley West High School in 1976 and then attended massage therapy school at IBMC. He obtained certification in the Culinary Arts and worked as a chef at various locations in San Francisco, Las Vegas and Colorado, including the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. David loved working as a chef and enjoyed his work as a massage therapist.

On September 22, 2013 he married Judy Harms in Gig Harbor, Washington. They were members of Journey Christian Church.

Dave enjoyed gardening and plants.

Dave always said that God brought Judy into his life. Their marriage was one of love and devotion. Though Dave did not have any children, he was fortunate enough to have the love and adoration of his beloved dog, Buddy.

Dave is survived by his wife, Judy (Harms) Mares; mother, Betty Mares of Greeley; sister, Pamela (Mares) Carmack of Springboro, Ohio and twin nieces, Katelyn and Bethany Carmack of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Mares.
