The early part of David's life was spent doing hard work on a farm. As he grew older David helped his father build custom homes in alliance to Nebraska. David was proud to have joined the Air Force October 20,1951 and served multiple years. Those next four years would have involved him to be a stateside instructor in the crypto field. He met his lovely wife; Jeanne Nuss of alliance and they lived in Sydney Nebraska. Their first three daughters were born in Sydney Nebraska. In 1965 he was then transferred to Sterling Colorado. In 1967, David was made Supervisor In Charge of microwave radio relay stations from Denver and East to the Nebraska. In 1969, David moved to Prospect Valley to become an operation supervisor.
In 1970, David built his own home with the help of his dad “Art” in Keenesburg, Colorado where he lived until 1976. He then got elected to the town Council in 1975 as mayor of that thriving metropolis. He would joke and say “If you look really hard, you can find it on the map”. In 1976 he relinquished the job of mayor and moved to Greeley, Colorado and His fourth daughter was born. David became involved in real estate and inherited the headaches of a landlord in 1978. He maintained the same job with AT&T from 1978 through 1992. In 1992, David moved to Evans right next to Greeley Colorado. In 1994, His son-in-law, James Adair, and him started to used car dealership and David would joke about making it to the auction “sort of fun to kick tires, but afraid to raise your hand “. Sadly, his wife Jeanne Andreasen battled cancer and passed away on August 8, 1997. David always said she was a special person and devoted, loving wife and mother. David found love again when he met Nadine Fales and remarried in 1999. They were a perfect match. They loved to travel and did serve Jesus, until the passing of Nadine November 13, 2015.
David spent the rest of his life loving, supporting, and comforting his family.
