What an inspirational woman that showed grace and courage and love for her family and friends. I worked with Chris at the flower shop many years ago and she never complained when her body was in pain, she just continued on with a beautiful smile on her face. May God give you peace and comfort in knowing that she is free of pain and is walking with the Lord.

So sorry for your loss. Heaven gained a straight shooter, hard worker with a beautiful smile. We knew Chris through 4-H activities, school and sports. Our  kids grew up together and we admired her spirit and thoughtful way. A very sweet lady.

Chris always had a smile on her face, no matter what was happening in her life, even through her physical trials.  I am honored to be her friend and was so touched by the support she gave her family, church, and workplace.  She is a true lady and I'm sure Jesus was thrilled to HUG her into His Kingdom forever! I was one of the lucky girls that got to call her Mom. Although she had many ""adopted"" children I was one that God picked to be hers. I got to have her be my biggest cheer leader. Through the years she taught me many things that will never be forgotten. Her spirit is one that I can only hope to have one day. No matter how ruff her day was as we walked in the door she always would say hi kid, and after we followed her trail of things on the floor we would find her usually in the den and the first thing we would see was her smile and the words of come give me a hug filled the room. As the years passed our relationship only got stronger and I thank God everyday that I got as much time with her as I did. there is so much more I want to say and should say, but the words just are not coming to me. I know my mom touched a lot of lives and had an impact on so many people. So I say this for not only the family but for everyone we will forever carry you in our hearts and will miss you dearly. We know you are no longer in pain and are finally getting to ride the wild horses again! She would always say love ya kid. Its my turn to say Love ya Mommy to the moon and back!

From Hero to Angel, an inspiration and a blessing
A coach, a friend, a mother, a grandmother, a wife
Strong, determined and caring
Chris was all of these things
Yet these words are incapable of capturing her full spirit
She was always ready to lend a helping hand
From giving a drive home or a full fundraiser
She always gave from her heart

I am so saddened to hear about Chris's passing. She was an amazing lady who was an inspiration to me in so many ways. I am so thankful I was able to call her ""coach"" for so many years.   She helped me learn to love for volleyball and softball and taught me how to compete.   My heartfelt condolences to all of her family, her friends and community.  Heaven gained a beautiful angel.

This loving, wonderful, beautiful and full of life person was an insperation to everyone she touched. Always willing to help, always had a beautiful smile. She was one of gods beautiful people. God gained a great angel in His house, we had such great times as kids, from riding horses, playing softball and volleyball in 4-H, cruising ""D"" block in ""Smiley"" or the Blue Bomb, swimming in Howard's Lake, hanging out, slumber parties, graduations and many more adventures. We were partners in crime as all would say. We had many laughs and there was a few blood, sweat and tears along the way. We had a great deal of wonderful adventures. Your friendship has been a treasure my friend. :hibiscus::baseball::smiley:
Then you met the live of your life, JG, and you had a new best friend, and along came your pride and joys, you had three beautiful daughters, but our friendship continued. Throughout the years life got in the way with the hustle and bustle of everything, we may not of talked or seen each other for months, but our friendship was still there. :revolving_hearts::bride_with_veil:
You have had to cross many obstacles in your life, but you did them with gusto, a smile,and a never give up attitude. You will be greatly missed my friend by many.  Love you, until we meet again in our heavenly home.  :cherry_blossom::innocent:

I have several memories of playing at the house and 4-H, Chris was such a nice woman and that has stuck in my memory over the years.

Very fond memories of Chris (and Denise) coaching our sons 4-H softball teams, to many championships in Kersey.  What a firecracker!  She was so wonderful with all those boys. I lived in Kersey for one short school year('75-'76). During that year I became friends with Chris! We didn't stay in touch until Facebook arrived! I feel so lucky to have been with her last April in Kersey at the Kersey Cafe. God speed, Chris, you are loved, and will be missed.
