She was born on November 12, 1950 to Jacob R. and Josephine N. (Nadolski) Hehn, in Dickinson, North Dakota. Bonnie attended school in Bozeman, Montana, and Fort Collins, Colorado. She attended Lescher Junior High School, and graduated from Fort Collins High School. Bonnie graduated from Colorado State University on a music scholarship, and received a teacher's credential from California State University of Bakersfield.
Bonnie was married to Robert Miller on November 5, 1974 in Fort Collins. They later moved to Bakersfield, California, where she was employed by the Bakersfield City School District and Kern High School District as a teacher. She spent countless hours grading homework and knitting at her kids sporting events. Bonnie spent her retirement years traveling the world, and enjoying grandkids every chance she got.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Miller of Timnath, Colorado; her son, Aaron Miller and wife, Tasneem, who live in Lisle, Illinois with children Aidan and Adam; and son, Adam Miller, who lives in Bakersfield, California with children Harrison and Emery. Bonnie is also survived by her sisters, Marla Hehn, of Fort Collins, and Robbie Corken, of Omaha and her brothers, Barry Hehn, of La Porte, and Ted Hehn, of Fort Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Josephine Hehn and her sister Laurie Hehn. We are all going to miss her so much, but she will be reunited with her parents and sister in heaven.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Grandview Cemetery, 1900 W Mountain Avenue; Fort Collins, Colorado 80521.
