Aurelio Espino-Hernandez, 49, of Greeley, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 in Greeley. Aurelio was born on November 13, 1964 in La Joya, Poanas, Durango, Mexico to Aureliano and Engracia (Hernandez) Espino.
On April 22, 1995, Aurelio married Laura Olivas at St. Peter’s in Greeley. Aurelio dearly loved and adored his wife. Family was everything to Aurelio; he was a wonderful father and grandfather. Aurelio was fun to be around, always smiling and carrying on with his great sense of humor. He was an avid Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos fan.
Aurelio was a dedicated and hardworking man. He worked for Swift for over twenty-six years. He always did right by all.
Aurelio is survived by his wife, Laura Espino of Greeley; daughter, Liliana Espino of Greeley; four sons, Larry Joe Olivas, Aurelio Espino, Jr. (Ashley), David Espino, Felipe Espino (Mitzy) all of Greeley; parents, Aureliano and Engracia Espino of Evans; four sisters, Angelina Meza (Herlindo), Estella Canales (Felix) and Lorena Maldonado (Francisco) all of Greeley and Lety Espino of Evans; four brothers, Luis Espino (Patricia) and Pedro Espino (Angelica) all of Greeley, Guadalupe Espino (Cecilia) of Evans and Lorenzo Espino (Sarahi) of Greeley; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Aurelio III, Laura Dayanara, Jaylah, Corrina, Sophia, Aaliyah, James and Zayden Alexander.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jacinta Saldivar and uncle, Feliciano Espino.
Visitation 5-7 pm Wednesday and 5-7 Thursday both at Stoddard Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary 7 pm Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Friday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Interment Linn Grove Cemetery.
