Antonio “Tony” Trujillo, 86, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Windsor Healthcare Center. Born February 28, 1930 in Pueblo, Colorado to Gomocindo Trujillo and Anita (Valdez) Trujillo he lived most of his young life in Mora, New Mexico.
Tony is survived by his wife Alice of 65 years, sons, Tony Jr. (Sally) Trujillo, Clarence (Esther) Trujillo and Sammy Trujillo; daughters, Rosie Trujillo, Shirley (David) Martinez and Susan (Ruben) Hinojosa, and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Tony was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to all.
Tony was a passionate man who enjoyed gardening. He worked as a farm laborer in Northern Colorado. In his spare time he enjoyed reading his prayers, playing his guitar and watching his TV (especially Westerns shows). He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Services will be on Dec 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 1250 7th St, Windsor. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
