Annie Hoffmann

Annie Hoffmann, 91 of Estes Park, CO died at her home at Good Samaritan Village on Saturday evening, October 29, 2016. Annie Sargent was born November 23, 1924 in Detroit, MI. Her parents were George and Orpha (Young) Sargent. She graduated from Cass Technical High School in Detroit. Annie worked as a comptometer operator for Borman Foods and Farmer Jack’s. On October 23, 1943 she married John Hoffmann in the Wesleyan Church in Detroit. After retirement, the couple moved to Estes Park. Annie enjoyed traveling, hiking and snow shoeing. She was a member of The Over The Hill and Trail Masters Hiking Clubs. She and John visited many of the nation’s National Parks. John died August 2, 2013 and Annie remained at Good Sam. She is survived by her daughter Jeanne Keyes of Houston, TX, granddaughter Kristi Richter and husband Clayton. She is also survived by great grandchildren Chase, Grant and Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister.
