Annabelle was born on April 17, 1934 in Johnstown, Colorado to John and Olive Sloan. Annabelle graduated from Johnstown High School. In 1954, Annabelle married John Cook in Johnstown, Colorado.
Annabelle worked as a caretaker for foster children as well as was a bus driver for District 6 Schools. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church for many years as well as the Cowboy Church. Annabelle loved to help others, she spent a lot of her time being active with the Senior Citizens Center and went on many trips with them. In her down time, Annabelle loved to garden and travel. She and her husband were “snowbirds” and spent as much time as possible in the mountains camping. Their all-time favorite place to visit was Casa Grande.
Annabelle Cook is survived in life by her daughter, Kimberly Cook, chosen family, Linda Land, Patty Land, Randy Land, grandchildren, Sasha, Zachary, Emily and great grandchild, Meadow.
Annabelle is preceded in death by her husband, John Cook, parents, John and Olive Sloan, siblings, Wanda Kreable, Larry Sloan, Ronny Sloan and Donny Sloan.
A visitation for Annabelle will be held Sunday, June 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634. A memorial service will be Monday, June 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Stoddard Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the memorial service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634.
