Alonso Cruz Flores, 25, of Greeley passed March 10, 2019. Alonso was the son of Robert Flores and Teresa Casarez born June 3, 1993. He was the youngest of three children. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 2011 and started his career at Front Range Roofing Systems in 2012.
He met his wife, Monica Casas-Martinez in September 2012. They have two daughters 5-year old Olivia and soon to be born daughter Ariel. He loved watching his Denver Broncos and play street football with family. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. He loved playing horseshoes with his dad and brother. He was in a junior league bowling team when he was a young child. He enjoyed playing video games and collecting classic model cars. He took the most pride in being a devoted father to his daughter and loving, supportive husband to his wife.
He is survived by his wife, Monica, 2 daughters Olivia and Ariel, parents, Teresa and Robert, brother, Isiah (Lisa) Flores, sister, Vanessa (Beatriz) Betancourt, In-laws, Angel Casas and Erlinda Martinez, brothers-in--law, Angel, Ozzi, Izzo and Izzac, grandmothers, Pearl Casarez and Irene Flores, 8 nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Santos Casarez and Juan Flores.
Viewing will be held at Stoddard Funeral Home Monday March 18, 2019 from 5-9pm with the rosary beginning at 7pm. A catholic mass will be held Tuesday 19, 2019 at 11am at Our Lady of Peace.
