Aaron "AJ" Jay Newby

AJ was born July 17, 1961 in Beeville, TX, to parents Aaron and Joanne Newby. The family moved to Colorado in December of 1962.

AJ graduated from Mapleton High School in 1979. Following high school, he worked as a machinist at a machine shop. AJ purchased his blade sharpening company in 1994 and worked with groomers and veterinarians up until his passing. He also owned K&A Enterprises, a groomer supply, since 2012.

AJ loved the outdoors, including activities like fishing and hunting.

AJ’s personality was absolutely radiant. He was an unforgettable beam of light. AJ never totally understood the amazing impact that he had on the lives of everyone he met. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. AJ impacted so many lives through his encouraging spirit and spreading of positivity and leaves behind a lasting legacy.

AJ is survived by his parents Aaron and Joanne Newby, partner Kristy, sister Sharon Roybal, brother David (Rhonda) Newby, his brothers children Vanessa Anderson, Victoria Newby, Sasha Newby, and Sierra Newby, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
