Stuart Jules Rubenstein, otherwise known as the “eternal optimist” passed away August 14, 2022 leaving behind a legacy of bravery, strength, generosity and compassion. Stuart was CEO of IOA Data, an international computer leasing company.
Besides his wife of 52 years, Lois Rubenstein, he is survived by his sons, Walter (Elise Rubenstein) and Arthur; daughters, Faith (Mark Eaker), Yael (Bob Kaufman), and Cara (David Melnick); grandchildren Danae, Micaela, Eli, Ari, Alana and Adam and great-grandson Luka. He was predeceased by his brother Charles.
He was a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and served in the Counter Intelligence Corps in the 1950’s.
Stuart loved to travel, play scrabble and bridge, and speak in multiple foreign languages. He was an avid Brooklyn Dodgers fan as a child growing up and eventually transferred his allegiance to the NY Mets. Above all he was devoted to his family.
He was a member of Temple Sinai of Roslyn Heights, NY and received multiple awards for his industry and Jewish contributions.
