I cannot express my grief with words. My heart goes out to Sims family.

We will remember Ryan for his smile, kindness, and compassion, and we are deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Our sincere sympathy and condolences to Ryan's family and friends for their loss of his companionship.  May their happy memories of Ryan bring some comfort.

My deepest condolences and sympathy goes out to the Sims family & Ryan's close friends.  Ryan and I shared a hallway at Brown freshman year.  He had a kindness and infectious smile that will be greatly missed amongst the Brown community. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy goes out to your family. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Ryan was always a wonderful presence of love, happiness, and adventure in my life. He taught me to look at life in a quizzical manner, say yes to adventures, to prioritize what made me happy, and to simply take advantage of the wonders around me. Words cannot describe what a wonderful influence this young man had in my life. I am incredibly grateful to be able to call him my friend. I will love him forever. We had an ongoing joke about me wanting to grow up to be just like him. After his appendectomy, he questioned whether my dreams had changed. I assured him they hadn't. Today, I can say that that statements remains true.

I only just met my 2nd cousin eight weeks ago at a wedding. He had deep sensitive eyes that smiled when he looked at you. I'm guessing somewhere in there he was a healer. He seemed to be an observer and when I signaled for him to come dance with his grandmother, his father, me and my nephew on the dance floor, he eagerly joined with a shy smile. I think he was just waiting  to be asked. I will treasure my moments with him.
