I was very fortunate to have Ruth Neale remotely pulling for me since the day I was born.   It is not hard to imagine the enormous impact Ruth must have had as a mother, grandmother, as a professional and as a leader in early education. – David Wachter Seattle WA April 2021

So sad to hear, I remember being a new Head Start Director and  looking up to Ruth as a role model. Her years of dedication to Head Start is truly a legacy.

My deepest condolences to Ruth's family members. 

I always admired Ruth's dedication to the children and families she served and to the mission of Head Start. On one of our trips to Puerto Rico she took me under her wing and never let me fly alone, I will be eternally grateful for her wisdom, guidance and her love. 
I was truly blessed to have her in my life and will miss her dearly.
