Levin, Michael of Great Neck, NY, passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 84. Husband of Marsha Levin. Father of Sharon (Rabbi David Lerner), Joshua, and Gary Levin. Grandfather of Talya, Ari, and Matan Lerner. Son of Harry and Sophia Levin z”l. He attended Yeshiva of Flatbush and graduated from Jamaica High School. By profession, Michael was a tax attorney, who attended Harvard (class of 1960) and Harvard Law School (class of 1963). He worked at Proskauer Rose, was a partner at Golenbock and Barrel, and then later worked at Thomson Reuters. Michael was a runner, tennis player, and avid reader, and enjoyed studying Jewish texts. He was proud to be a descendant of Rabbi Joseph Levin, author of the Yad HaLevi, and his maternal great-grandfather, Rav Michal Yehoshua Feinstein.
