Susan Denise Barrows

Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at St. Laurence Anglican Church, 519 N. Kimball Ave., Southlake, 76092. Fr. John Jordan will officiate.

Friends may attend the memorial service and a reception will be held at the St. Laurence Anglican Church Parish Hall.

The family wishes to extend our thanks to the UT Southwestern Bone Marrow Transplant team and the Surgical ICU (SICU) team at Clements Hospital for their wonderful help and care given.

Susan was born Nov. 18, 1952, in Detroit, Mich. Susan moved to Texas in 1975 and was a Southlake resident since 1994. Susan graduated from Trenton High School in Trenton, Mich., and attended Midland College, in Michigan. She worked as a clinic office manager for several years in medical offices throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Susan was very kind, loved animals and was known as "GiGi" to her three grandchildren, Cash, Rhett and Jett. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life, and she loved her sweet English bulldog, Ruby Crystal.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Clifford Barrows III of Southlake.

Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Starr Barrows of Southlake; brother, Brandon Burns of Lincoln Park, Mich.; sister, Margaret Burns of Lincoln Park, Mich.
