Paul Douglas Goynes

Paul earned his Computer Science Degree along with many other professional certifications. He was the founder of the Voice of the People, which gained over 60,000 followers on TikTok. While Paul had many accomplishments in life, his most treasured award was being the “Best Paw Paw” around. Paul was handy and loved outdoor activities including fishing and gardening, he also loved eating cookies and playing with his grandkids.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents Ray & Carolyn; Brother Rick, and Sisters Tina and Sandy. He is survived by his wife Paula Goynes of 45 years, his five children Tabatha (Danny) Ahlers, Amber Goynes, Chase Goynes, Jesse Goynes, and Sommer (Colt) Jones; siblings Phil (Jan) Goynes, Timothy Goynes, Jeff Mussman, and Marya Goynes; 13 grandchildren, and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Paul will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors, 523 S Main ST, Grapevine, TX 76051. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 25, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Francis of Assisi, 861 Wildwood Lane, Grapevine, TX 76051. A graveside service will occur Friday, August 25, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Grapevine Cemetery, 908 Spring Creek Dr., Grapevine, TX 76051.
