Myron Taylor Lillis

Mass of a Christian Burial will commence at 11:00 Wednesday morning September 21,2016 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 861 Wildwood Ln, Grapevine, TX 76051. The family will receive friends from 6-9 Tuesday evening at J.E. Foust and Son funeral home 523 South Main Street Grapevine, Texas 76051/ Myron will be laid to rest in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery following the funeral mass. Myron spent 23 ½ years serving in the United States Air Force and fought in the Korean War and Vietnam conflict. During his years of service he met and married Nettie Lou Varney traveling the world, and creating a family of nine children. After retiring from the Air Force in 1969 at age 38, he received an Associate Degree in Business Management and was Director of Linen Services at Parkland and Baylor Hospitals, as well as Hyatt Hotels. In later life he worked as a Courtesy Driver for Payton Wright/Grapevine Ford. He was a lifetime member of NRA and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Myron was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Lou and a grandson, Caleb Forrest Lillis with whom he shared his birth day, his son-in-law Leo Ehrhard, and his grandson-in-law Shane Jensen. He was also preceded in death by both of his parents, 2 brothers John and Charles Lillis, and a sister Pat Harper. He is survived by a sister Anna K. Milam and 2 brothers-in-law James E. (Mary) and David N. (Sue) Varney; his 4 daughters Zilpha Diane Lillis, Deborah Sue Ehrhard, Patricia Ann Molsberry (Alan), Sharon Regina Marshall (Kenny); and his 5 sons Myron Taylor Lillis II, David Duane Lillis (Rita), Patrick Michael Lillis, Danny Charles (Jana) Lillis, and Shawn Joseph Lillis. He is also survived by his grandchildren KristinTivis (Rich), Francis Michael Lillis, Tomarrow Felts (Brian), Hayley Molsberry, Denny Lucas (Michael), Melissa Koehler (Gary), Amanda Jensen, Christopher Lillis, Peter Lillis, Molly Lillis, Dorothy Lillis, Danial Lillis, Heather Lillis, Zachery Lillis, Meghan Webb (Cody), Marissa Lillis, Heaven Mallory Lillis, Aaron Willingham, Cheyenne Marshall, Nick Marshall, Jonah Lillis, Noah Lillis, and Gabby Lillis, and his 13 Great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
