I watched Larry’s obituary on live screen yesterday and I wanted to share some memories we shared together as cousins growing up. Our families were always not far off from each other because when one moved the other was not far behind. Some memories are we would climb up into some trees that were covered with grapevines. We would climb all the way to the top and smoke grapevines. And yes they do burn your tongue. Our dads would take us to a dump ground just about every weekend where we searched for something of value which hardly ever happened. We rode bikes everywhere and played lots of games outside. He drove to our house when we moved to Whitesboro and we went to town and made a few drags there. I don’t think he was to fond of my little town. We did catch a lot of eyes that night. Larry had that hair all slicked back and a cigarette in hand. I hated to see him leave and go back home. I could go on and on sharing our times together. I do regret that as we grew older we never kept up our relationship. It would of been nice if our kids could of known each other  too. We both loved hunting. He would send me pictures of great bucks taken from one of his leases that were on a feeder or one of the kids had shot. He invited us down to his home several times but I just didn’t take he time to go. I wish I had of now. I enjoyed listening to some of his friends and family sharing their memories. Larry definitely will be missed by his family and friends.  Love ya guys. RIP 

I still can’t find the words dad. Not a day will go by that I won’t miss hearing the sound of your voice telling me you love me or telling me to stop playing with my hair. I’ll miss our daily FaceTime calls and your sweet smile. The world just won’t be the same without you. I love you so much. I hope your dancing in the clouds. I can’t wait to hug your neck again one day. 

We were the dream team of partners. Farrington was a legend. He built a legacy. I’m honored to be a part of his life. And I love his family dearly. 

What an amazing legacy you have left! A family man, a business man, dad, husband, brother, son, great grandfather and my personal favorite Papaw. From you we learned to put family first, to forgive and forget, work hard and enjoy life. Thankful to be your granddaughter and have many so many amazing memories with you. Love you immensely and will miss you tremendously. You are a man that will made an impact and will never be forgotten. 

Larry, you were a good friend to many! I was honored to be called your friend. When I worked for you, you taught me the meaning of hard work.  Anyone that had the opportunity to know you, knew that you were a good man, and a fair man. You taught us to work hard, enjoy life, and  love your family. You will be missed by many. Rest In Peace by friend. May God wrap His arms around you, and continue to watch over your family. 

What a great tribute to a great man. He was one of my favorite cousins even though we didn’t see each other very often, we did love each other very much. We share a love for the car business, each in our own way.  He sold them & I fix them when they are wrecked. Larry, you are greatly missed. Kathy & family, you are in my prayers & remember I am here for you. Let’s don’t be strangers. My luv to all!!!

Tough,compassionate,and forgiving.. Hardly enough words to fully describe you and all that you were.  The car industry lost a giant, and the mark you left will live on forever in all the lives you touched. You will be forever missed. Thank you for believing in me ! 

You will live on in the many stories and memories you created. Rest in peace my friend !!!

I miss you already... your warm hugs, floppy ear lobes, unconditional love, and the way you lit up when I walked in to a room.  I'm so thankful for you and all the time we got to spend together. 

You always made me feel so special, and like spending time with me was the most important thing in the world.  You were the most amazing father,  hero, and BFF and I'm going to miss you forever.   I will love you always and think of you all the time.

Thanks Larry. Meeting you 20 years ago, put me on a path. Still in the car business. I have been blessed.  I’ve always had your voice in my head. “Stop whining, go sell something!”  You always had a way of not listening, but looking like you were, looking up over your glasses, “yep.” That’s all I needed. Thanks for all my  ‘Farrington moments.’ Your voice and memories will continue in my mind. 

 I knew Larry from the old days of Hudiburg Chevrolet and Autonation! I also worked with Shane for a few years! My Sympathy to all of the Family!
