She is survived by Bob Ross, her husband of 60 years, and her beloved family Bill Ross (Karen K.), Karen D. Ross, and Tim Abbey (Tina), grandchildren Madi, Zoe, Lexi, and William.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Margery D. Camerer.
Joyce graduated from Centenary College in 1963 with a bachelor’s of science degree and earned a Master of Education from Texas Woman’s University in 1990.
She was an elementary education teacher for more than twenty years, most of which was spent at the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. It was in Grapevine that she was honored as Teacher of the Year.
Joyce was an avid reader and loved traveling with her friends and family.
