On April 18th, God called a beautiful spirit home to rest in eternal peace. Jimmy was born on June 27th 1997 and was the light of his doting mother Darlene’s life, and was loved dearly by so many friends and family. Jimmy’s passion for travel gave people all around the world the privilege of knowing and loving him, as he made friends everywhere he went. Following in his mother’s footsteps, Jimmy was a flight attendant and was aspiring to join the pilot’s program for Delta. His loving mother Darlene has been flying for 32 years and had the profound honor of pinning his flight wings.
Jimmy had a giving spirit and was always willing to help anybody in need, especially family and those closest to him. He loved and helped care for his little sister Logan, with whom he was very close. He was never shy to help his Aunt Karen in the kitchen, and loved interior decorating with her. He lived with his aunt Karen for 3 years and cherished all of the special moments he created with his cousins Dylan and Anthony, who were like brothers to him. He also loved traveling with his family as much as he could, and moved to Romania as a young man to be with his father Jim who he loved so very much. Jimmy made many great memories with his closest friend and first love Anthony P, and spent many days at his family’s Blue Mule vineyard and farm in Fayetteville. Quality time with family and friends was always the cornerstone of his life.
Jimmy had a lifelong affinity for pop culture and fashion. Always stylishly dressed, he took pride in having eternal great taste. On any given day, you could catch him listening to Lady Gaga, Kacey Musgraves or Lana Del Rey and browsing the real real for streetwear or gifts for many of the special ladies in his life. He had a huge love of art, and was a budding painter. He was very inspired by his favorite artist Gustav Klimt. He had plans to move to Brooklyn one day, where his progressive aura would have flawlessly integrated.
Jimmy truly believed it was better to give than to receive and gave so much of his heart and soul to everyone in his family. Not a bad word could ever be said about him, nor would you ever hear him speak ill of another. He was truly a symbol of God’s love, and a blessing to anyone who was lucky enough to spend a moment with him.
We organized this fundraiser so that we could all show support and love for his immediate family in this time. We are eternally grateful to anyone who is able to contribute and give back to the memory of our beautiful Jimmy.
The viewing will be held at J.E. Foust and Sons Funeral home located at 523 S. Main Street, Grapevine, TX. Viewings will begin on Monday, April 27th from 12pm - 7pm and will conclude on Tuesday, April 28th from 12pm - 7pm.
He was survived by his parents Darlene C Hanke Jordan, James Boyd Ihle II, his sister Logan Marie Jordan. Grandparents Norman and Delores Hanke. His grandfather James Boyd Ihle Sr. His Aunt Karen Ramirez and cousins Dylan and Anthony Ramirez.
