Sorry I never looked Jim up before he passed. Always thought he was a very smart man for getting away back in71.  I hope I get to see him in heaven.  Most normal part of my childhood and will always think of him and hold him in the highest regard

Jim Arnold was a great guy who'll be in my memory for ever 

When I think of James, I think of Sunday mornings at church when he would say hello and ask how I’m doing. He always had a radiant smile and something uplifting to say. He left a legacy of kindness and love. ❤️

Robin and I were both sad to hear about James passing.  Randi, the two of you were long time customers, but more than that you were friends.  Over the years there are some good memories I can recall that involved James, some from our SOB Ski trips together.  Since we moved to east Texas we miss getting to see folks like you and James but you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

The Arnold family started me on the surveying crew in 1995 at 22 years old. 25 years later that is still how I make a living, Land Surveying. Jimmy and I were in the same grade and grew up together for many years. Spectacular family that I’m indebted to forever. James was great to his employees and treated us all like family. Praying for Randy, Jimmy and  the whole Arnold family in their loss, remembering James Arnold instilled in you a great work and business ethic that will provide the community for years to come.

My Dad Dad was a true legend. He was the definition of a true gentleman, and the architect to this great family we have. I am lucky enough to have so many memories with Dad Dad, from sleepovers on the eggshell mattress that was always made right next to their bed, from all the westerns, and all the Kevin Costner, all the German chocolate cake, from him driving to pick me up for bible study, or for work, or to just go have dinner with Grandy and him. Going to New York, being there for every pep rally and softball, dance competitions, football games, he was always there for every single thing. He was always one of my biggest fans. The evening that he passed we were able to go up and say our goodbyes, Dad Dad had woken up and told us “Oh Hey” with a big smile, he put his arm around my waist and we just sat there telling him old stories and about how much we loved him. Something I will never ever forget. To know him was a privilege and a honor. He will always be remembered, and always have a huge spot in my heart. Thank you for being you. I love you Dad Dad. 

The list is endless for memories with “James and Randy” - you never saw one without the other.  A team unparalleled in kindness, fun, laughter, generosity...the list is endless.  I have no doubt that James is up there helping God manage heaven... while James will be looking down and smiling as he helps watch over Randy every step of the way!  We love you James and the hole is our heart is huge!  We will miss you til we meet again.  I am reminded of some of former President Bush’s words shortly before he died when he asked  ... “I know Barbara is in heaven, but how will I find her when I get there?”  Well Randy, we all know “The James Arnold” won’t be hard to find.

James and the entire Arnold family were always very close to me growing up.  I really enjoyed all of the great times we spent together.  After James met Randy and got married we spent more great times together; but never enough. We all lost a great man. Love and prayers to the entire family. 

There was never a time we didn’t know how special James and Randy were — as individuals and as  a couple. Their love of adventure, for each other, and for their family and friends was something we were blessed to feel and to witness. 

Some of our best vacation memories include the trips we took with James and Randy. We’re blessed to have such dear, loving and fun friends. James will always have a special place in our hearts. We miss him. 

My condolences to the family and praying for peace and comfort. I know he will be missed by this loving family, but they have so many precious memories to help them get through this most difficult time.

My heart stopped upon seeing these sad news, I had the honor of meeting Mr. James and his beautiful family in the restaurant where I worked for 8 long years, I reiterate I had the pleasure of serving you your favorite food which until today  Today I remember how he liked it !!!  Rest in peace Mr. James I will carry you in my heart always, people like you we shall never forget! Jesica from Glorias’s Restaurant!!
