Harry served 4 years in the United States Air Force, stationed out of Carswell AFB, and spent some time overseas in Morocco. He went on to receive his Associate's degree in business and retired as an Estimator after a 45-year-long career with Austin Bridge and Road.
Harry loved to learn from TV cooking shows and was always cooking new and fresh ideas. He was an avid League bowler and enjoyed fishing with the men of Peace Lutheran Church. He also enjoyed participating in the men’s ministry breakfasts and studies at First Methodist Church Hurst.
Harry is survived by his beautiful bride, Jody. They were married for over 44 years. Harry is survived by his children: Richard “Alan” Lattanzi, Michael Lattanzi (spouse - Connie), and Sherri Plooster (spouse - Gary); Grandchildren: Kristopher Krueger, Gavin Plooster, Logan Plooster (spouse - Karli), Ryan Plooster, Rachel McMillan (spouse - Jerry), Alyssa Fox (spouse - Brian), Jonathan Lattanzi; Great Grandchildren: Jackson Fox, Grayson Fox, and Maxine McMillan; Nieces: Lisa Rene DeVlieger, Teresa Davis, and Sabrina Reif; Nephews: Doug, Charles, and Thomas Farmer; Cousins: Michael Martin and Susan Sowder.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Octy, along with his two brothers Bill and Richard.
Services will be held for Harry on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home, 523 S Main St., Grapevine, TX 76051.
A visitation for Harry will be available from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. The funeral service will start immediately afterward from 12:00-1:00 PM and a reception with light food is provided from 1:00-3:00 PM.
