Edwina “Eddie” Thompson Argyle, TX – A wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother peacefully passed away on Tuesday December 12, 2017 after a courageous battle with leukemia at the age of 77. A graveside service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville on Friday December 15th at 11am. Eddie was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on July, 29th 1940 to Lyle and Opel Adams. Afterwards Opel re-married Mr. Victor Santa who then adopted Eddie and the family lived for many years in Tulsa OK. The family moved to the Los Angeles area where she met, and married Charles Dean Thompson. After raising their two children in Downey, CA the family moved to Colleyville, TX where Eddie worked for several Grapevine physicians in the insurance department. Eddie was a long time and dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Colleyville and a die-hard Oklahoma Sooners fan. Eddie is survived by her husband Dean Thompson, Sons Mike Thompson and wife Sherrie, Bob Thompson and his wife Zoe. Grandsons Chris Thompson and his wife Kim, Matt Thompson and his wife Jen. Granddaughters Lorie Thompson and Morgan Thompson.
