Grampy, as he was lovingly called by his family, cherished his grandchildren and time spent with each of them. He enjoyed spending summers at a cottage in Ocean Park, Maine, with family. He loved reading the newspaper and doing crossword puzzles. Grampy was committed to his late wife, and even as Alzheimer's took his memories, he always remembered her and knew he needed to be by her side. All of the family will miss him, but they know he is at peace with his loved ones.
A viewing will be held at Foust Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas, on Monday, November 13, at 2 p.m. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, November 27, at 10 a.m at Grapevine Cemetery.
