Charlotte was born to Raymond Frederick Heidner, Jr. and Priscilla Heidner on December 23, 1952 in Houston, TX. After graduating from Westbury High School, she went on to study business at the University of Texas at Austin. She attended university at the same time as her mother Priscilla, who graduated from nursing.
Immediately after college, Charlotte worked as an executive assistant for Exxon USA. Following Charlotte’s stint at Exxon, she succeeded in getting IBM to hire her as a marketing support representative.
In 1980, while she was working for IBM in El Paso, she met her future husband of 43-years Bruce Morris on a blind date. The date was set up by his brother Brock. Charlotte and Bruce wed June 28, 1980, going on to have two children, Brett and Jill. When Charlotte had Brett, she left IBM to focus on being a full-time mother.
She became a proud grandmother to Gwendolyn in 2007.
Charlotte was a passionate maker of personalized stationery.
Charlotte was predeceased by her parents Raymond Frederick and Priscilla. She is survived by her husband Bruce, her children Brett and Jill, her granddaughter Gwen, her brother Raymond F. (Rick) Heidner III and his wife Diane, her sister Kathy Heidner Taylor and her husband Steven, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to your favorite animal charity in her name.
There will be a viewing Friday from 5-9pm, followed by a funeral service at 10am Saturday. Both the viewing and the funeral will be held at J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home, 523 S. Main Street, Grapevine, TX 76051.
