Carlos Clayton Ruiz

Carlos attended primary school at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Fort Worth, and later graduated from R.L Paschal High School in 1972, where he was voted Mr. Paschal in his senior year.

Then, after graduating from Texas Tech University, Carlos began a 34 year long career with American Airlines. It was there he met his wife, Carole, with whom he spent the next 30 years traveling and exploring. He was an avid sports fan, a racecar devotee, and a music enthusiast.

A friend to many; an enemy to none, Carlos will be missed by all who knew his accepting heart, peaceful temperament, and beautiful smile.

Carlos was preceded in death by Tony Ruiz, Father, and Betty Del Rio Ruiz, Mother, both of Ft. Worth. Survived by wife, Carole McKnight Henslee-Ruiz of grapevine, Stepson, Christopher Henslee or Bentonville, AR; Brother, Robert Ruiz (Karen) of Benbrook; Sister, Katherine Gerland (Don) of North Richland Hills.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 5th, 2022 at 10:30 am with a reception to follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Lane, Keller, TX 76248
