I was the caltans supervisor in Yucca Valley when I first met Everett when he can to Morongo CHP in the early 80’s.  We became friends on and off our jobs.  We made quite a few fishing trips to the eastern Sierras.... a few with our boys.   He loved to fish!  I went to Bishop in 1990 and Everett transferred to Lone Pine and then Bishop a few years later.  He actually lived with me for a bit while he was getting his family relocated. He promoted to sgt in northern CA and I retired 2006.  We kept in contact over the years and were trying to find the right time to call each other when he got sick.  Sapper was a good friend a great man.. he loved his family more than anything.. I will miss him

Such a terribly sad day knowing I won't be able to banter back and forth anymore with you Everett. Although we've only been FB buddies for a few years, we bonded instantly. Everett was such a wonderful man and so easy to like. We shared so many great stories and jokes along the way. I loved keeping up with his travelling adventures... He made you feel like you were right there with him. I truly wish I'd been able to work with Everett as he was a gentleman and very kind soul. I fully understand why a former co-worker of mine, Corey White, thought so much of Everett. This is just so heartwrenching knowing I won't be seeing anymore of your great posts and sharing the comraderie of our Law Enforcement background. My sincerest condolences to your family, former co-workers and friends Everett. You will truly be missed my friend😰😰🙏🙏💙💙🇺🇸🇺🇸

Everett was a good man. Before he had surgery, I posted the information of him standing in front of his patrol vehicle.  I requested prayers for him.  Over 100 responded. He will be missed.

Such a favorite patient of mine.  So sad that he has left us to join our heavenly clan.  He will greatly be missed with his quiet and kind demeanor.  A person who held exuberant humility.  Someone easy to talk to and work with.
