David was born in 1979 in Louisville, KY to parents William Nagel (b.1959) and Lisa Nagel (1957-2021). Following graduation from Ballard High School, David dedicated his life to his many passions: travel, music, connecting with other from all over the country, and being a loving son and proud uncle.
David enjoyed spending time with family and friends fishing, camping, hiking, attending music festivals, and family trips to Gatlinburg and various beaches. David loved holding friends from coast to coast. His enormous heart and beautiful soul allowed him to find friends wherever his travels took him. He believed in spending time with great friend and family, good music, and loving those around you with a full and kind heart.
David is survived by his father Bill Nagel, brother’s Mark Nagel, and Michael Nagel (Betsy), sister Ashley Novak (Greg), nieces Anna, Olivia, Addelyn, Eleanor, Nephews Benjamin and Cade, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.
David now joins his mother, Lisa Nagel, in a reunion that will bring them both tremendous peace.
