Dagmar Maria Jones

Dagmar was born on April 1, 1948 in Prague, Czech Republic, to the late Josef and Vera Waldhans. She graduated from Charles University in Prague with a degree in languages. Dagmar emigrated to the United States in 1971 and became a U. S. Citizen in 1984. She married Dory Jones in 1983 in Long Beach, California. Dory and Dagmar resided in San Pedro, California for 25 years. She worked as a consumer and real estate loan processor for 25 years. In 2021, Dagmar and Dory moved to Grants Pass and became active members of St. Anne Catholic Church.

Dagmar is survived by her husband Dory, brother Pavel (Annie) Waldhans of Prague; daughter Dinah (Torsten) Groesser; grandchildren Katarina, Johanna, Lukas and Annemarie of Germany and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Dagmar will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chapel of the Valley-LB Hall Funeral Home, 2065 Upper River Road, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1131 NE 10th Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 945 NE Hillcrest Dr., Grants Pass, OR 97526.

Dagmar will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 945 NE Hillcrest Drive, Grants Pass, OR 97526.
