William "Hawk" Jay Bouma

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Judith “Judy” Bouma (Doorn); his children, Mike and Barb Bouma and their kids, Drew and Jaelyn, Jeff and Mary Bouma and their kids, Hannah, Luke, Eve, and Jordyn; his mother, Anna Bouma (Ostindie); his siblings, Lois Bouma, Roger Bouma; and his sister-in-law, Lynda and Gail Lutz; and many, many friends.

Bill worked as a commercial realtor and a truck driver. He was very involved in the lives of his grandkids and spent time with them daily. Bill loved draft horses and ponies.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2017, at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St., S.W.. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, at Second Christian Reformed Church, 7588 Byron Center Ave., S.W., with visitation prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. Rev. Tom Groelsema will officiate. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery.

In honor of Bill, contributions may be made to Byron Center Christian School - Building Fund.
