William will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 25 years; Carol Crews Sluiter; his children Angela Paul Baker of Kentwood, Amy Alex Sherwood of Middleville, William D. Crews Jr. of the US Marines, of MD; “Grandpa’s good girl” Ava Rose Sherwood; his father- and mother-in-law Al & Cathy Sluiter; his siblings Margie Spence, Charles Lynn Crews, Horace Vicki Crews, Bobby Maria Crews, Lorna Mike Marr, Goldie Banasse; his brothers- and sisters-in-law Cheryl Hargrove, Nancy Bob Steinbrecher, Glen Sluiter, Dale Sheryl Sluiter, Tim Sluiter; and many nieces and nephews.
