Theresa Marie Skrabis

Theresa Skrabis, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, April 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Christopher and Mary Sella; husband, Joseph Peter Skrabis; granddaughter, Amanda Marie Brennan; grandsons Kenneth Robert Kubiak Jr. and Joseph Wayne Skrabis; brothers Quentin and Anthony Sella. She is survived by her children Lori Chandler, Pete (Penny) Skrabis, Chuck (Kim) Skrabis, Lynn Skrabis, Mike (Lisa) Skrabis, Mary Cook, and Patricia Skrabis; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings Mary Gioia, Paul (Dale) Sella, John (Arlene) Sella, and Russell Sella; sisters-in-law Wanda Sella and Jan Sella; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Theresa loved her children and family more than anything. She was famous for her Sunday spaghetti dinners and although many tried to duplicate her recipe, no one ever came close. She also loved to share stories and laughs over coffee with her friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to Chrissy and Ginger with Hospice of Michigan for their wonderful, compassionate care. They would also like to express their appreciation to Wendy from Granny Cab for always going the extra mile on outings.

Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Trinity CRC, 60 Port Sheldon St. SW, Grandville, Michigan 49418, with a Rosary held at 7:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. on *Friday, April 23, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, MI 49418.
