Shirley Diederiks, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior, at peace and surrounded by her family, Saturday, August 6, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Diederiks. She is survived by her daughter, Deb (Mike) Schichtel; son, Tim Diederiks; grandchildren Casey (Amanda) Schichtel, Courtney (Josh) Roberts, Chelsea (Andy) Felix, Nicole Diederiks, Jennifer Diederiks; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Shirley lived an amazing life full of laughter. She was very involved in her church and choir. She was the life of the party and never missed out on playing games with her family. She was a friend to all and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to service. In honor of Shirley, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wesley Park United Methodist Church.
