Bob Bloemendaal, age 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, December 12, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Louise Bloemendaal; daughter, Robin (Roy) Dallier; grandson, Devin DeGood; sister, Ida Korf; brother, Pete (Beth) Bloemendaal.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer and loved to watch his Michigan games. He loved to go on mission trips through church and travel with his family. Bob enjoyed time with his grandson, Devin, whether it was going to his sports or playing with RC cars. Family was important to Bob and he was always there for his daughter and grandson, never missing an event.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to service. In honor of Bob, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Paradise Bound Ministries or Paws With A Cause.
