Richard Homrich

Richard Donald Homrich, age 84, went to be with his Lord unexpectedly on Friday, May 1, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Grace Homrich; son, Donald Homrich; and brother, Robert Homrich.

He will be remembered by his loving wife, Ann Homrich; children Susan Oostveen and Jim (Holly) Homrich; grandchildren Megan (Jimm) Sullivan, Nick (Danielle) Oostveen, Corey Oostveen, Josh Homrich, Brianna (Jay Thurman) Homrich, Mitchell Homrich, and Dani Homrich; great-grandchildren Rylee, Liam, Ava Grace, Everett, and Kinsley; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Richard had a magnetic personality and was well known at the places he frequented. He was a proud member of American Legion Post 208 and the Moose Lodge; he cherished the friendships formed there. He spent his entire career at Steelcase and remained actively committed to the organization via the Steelcase Retiree’s Club. He was an involved and supportive father and grandfather. His bright smile, hearty laugh, and huge hugs will forever be cherished.

A private family committal ceremony and interment will be held at Floral View Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when we can gather safely in remembrance.
