On Saturday, February 25, 2023, Dick Freeman, went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Joan Freeman. He is survived by his children Deb (Bruce) Babcock, Kim (Ron) Reed, David (Karla) Freeman, Cathy (Tom) Roossien, Kristy (Rod) Underhill, Dan (Dianne) Freeman, Jo-e'l (Jon) TenBrink; 30 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sister, Pat (Jerry) Killough; brother, John (Kathy) Nibbelink; sister-in-law, Loy White; special friend, Judy Suckling; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dick proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He truly loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren above all.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Grandville Jenison Congregational Church, 3900 Henry St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to service.
