She will be sadly missed by her husband Brian; her mother Mary Rose Gilmore; her step-father Thomas Gilmore; her father Roger Zylstra; her father and mother-in-law, James and Peg De Haan; her brother Brian Zylstra; her step-brother Tom Gilmore Jr.; her step-sister Renee Turner; her brother-in-law Brent and Julie De Haan; her sisters-in-law, Jill and Rachel De Haan; her grandparents, Ruth and Glen Tibbs, Shirley Bolton, John Vander Werf, and Will and Bertha Erickson; her special aunt and uncle, Sijtze and Anita Van Tuinen; her special friends, Heather and Jade Peddie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Penny’s joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone she met including family, friends, and students.
The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Resurrection Life Full Gospel Church 5100 Ivanrest SW.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home 4235 Prairie SW -east building, and Wednesday from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. at Resurrection Life Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hudsonville High School - Scholarship fund.
