Lynn was born November 15, 1946 in the Riverbend area. There he developed strong roots and a keen sense of family. He strongly believed in honoring those who have come before him. Lynn had wide and varying interests including genealogy, gardening, hunting, and history. Many considered him a great source of neighborhood history. He had a thirst for knowledge and was always up for an adventure or learning something new.
In 1965 Lynn was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served two years in Germany. When he came home in 1967, he married the love of his life, Patricia. Together they spent the next 54 years raising their family and building a beautiful life together. He worked alongside his father and brothers Jesse and Jon, running the family farm. He also worked at Keeler Brass for 25 years. He was able to retire from Keeler Brass early and was able to spend 25 years doing what he loved most, farming. When he wasn’t busy on the farm, you could find him with his neighborhood breakfast bunch on Wednesdays and with his cousin George Ritz for Sunday breakfast.
Lynn died Monday December 20, 2021 doing what he loved on the farm that he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him and called him Husband, Dad, Granddad,
Brother, Cousin and Friend.
