Linda Mae Morley (nee Hemy) went to be with her Lord November 18, 2022, at the age of 74, after a long battle with dementia. Linda was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, May 11, 1948, to Raymond and Norma Hemy. Linda is survived by her children Megan Hall (Matthew), Aaron Morley (Korey Brown), Jason Morley, and Matthew Morley; grandsons Caleb and Ethan Hall; siblings Philip Hemy (Jackie), Martin Hemy (Carolyn Coons), Christine Hemy (Dale), and Vincent Hemy (Marlene).
Linda had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. She is remembered for her vibrant personality and wardrobe, fiery red hair, and the biggest earrings her ears could hold. Linda had a long career as a nurse, where she cared for her patients with humor and compassion. Linda was met in Heaven with open arms by her husband of 43 years, Richard, and her parents (all of whose celestial days just got much more colorful).
Linda’s life will be celebrated at a service 11 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 48418. Her family hopes to see you in your best earrings and brightest lipstick, as we send Linda off with her signature flair. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to World Vision, a cause that was near and dear to Linda’s heart. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresgrandville.com.
