Linda Johnson, age 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 16, 2023. She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 66 years, David Johnson; children David Jr. (Cherie) Johnson and Susan (Steve) Beavers; grandchildren Mike (Lesli), Courtney (Nick), Marie (Mikey), Daniel (Ali), Jennica, Nicole; great-grandchildren Lily, Riley, Emerson; brother, Bill (Caroline) Dodds; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Linda dedicated much of her life to her family and her church. She was an elder in the Community of Christ church and served as pastor for several years at the Grand Valley congregation. She enjoyed cooking - especially for large groups. She was the head cook for church youth and family camps each summer for many years. Linda and Dave loved to travel and were fortunate enough to visit much of the United States and many foreign countries. She enjoyed being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Celebration of Linda’s life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023 with visitation one hour prior at Community of Christ - Grand Valley, 4790 Jacob St. SW, Wyoming, 49418. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Linda, contributions may be made to Community of Christ - Grand Valley or Outreach International.
