Laura Mae Boersen, age 96, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, October 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Boersen; daughter, Lisa Boersen; and parents Joe and Kay Overway. She will be deeply missed by her sons Gary (Carole) Boersen, Glen (Nancy) Boersen; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.
Laura was a charter member of Fair Haven Church, where she attended and volunteered for many years. She also loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2021 at Fair Haven Church, 2900 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, MI 49426, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Laura will be laid to rest next to Bert and Lisa at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Holland, Michigan. In memory of Laura and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Georgetown and Cambridge Manor or Fair Haven Church.
