Karen Kay Kladder, age 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, April 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Wilmer and Geraldine Bos; in-laws Bert and Margaret Kladder; sister-in-law, Sharon Kladder; brother-in-law, David Kladder.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Kladder; children Christopher (Karen) Kladder, Sarah Kladder; grandchildren Devin and Trevor Kladder; siblings Patricia (Larry) Verburg, Linda (Marty) Doyle, Alan (Rebecca) Bos, Kenneth (Shelly) Bos; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Karen was an avid singer and music was a huge part of her life; if she wasn’t singing solos at church, she was playing music in her home. Karen was a very competitive fisherman, especially against Ken. She lost her long battle with Parkinson’s and was able to stay in the comfort of her home, thanks to her selfless and devoted husband.
Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022 with visitation beginning 12 p.m., at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, 49418. In honor of Karen, contributions may be made to Mel Trotter Ministries and Gateway Mission. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresgrandville.com.
