Judy Wiltjer, age 67, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, John Wiltjer; sisters Linda Wiltjer and Chari Dean; many beloved dogs. She is survived by husband, John Fletcher; daughter, Melissa Wiltjer; dog, Taco; mother, Henrietta Wiltjer; siblings Kathy VanderHorn, Bonnie (Larry) Kosten, Steve (Ann Lessard) Wiltjer, and Deb (Bill) Steffes; brother-in-law, Ron Dean; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
Judy was known for her tell-it-like-it-is attitude and stubbornness and carried that through a 2½ year battle with cancer. Not one to have others worry about her, she kept her diagnosis out of the public eye for the most part. She had an amazing team of doctors at the Metro Health Cancer Center that gave us the chance to enjoy more holidays and milestones with her around.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew her, but with the crafts that she loved doing, her legacy will live on through many handmade items given to family and friends.
